Dear Members Delegates, DGS and ICS Participants, dear Guests, 

The European Forum of Deposit Insurers (EFDI) and the French Deposit Guarantee and Resolution Fund (FGDR) are pleased to welcome you to the EFDI 2024 Annual General Meeting and International Conferences that take place in France, in the Mediterranean city of Nice. 

The overall Event hosted in the Le Méridien Hotel, directly situated on the bay of Nice, 1 Promenade des Anglais, is scheduled from Tuesday 28 till Friday 31 May 2024. 

The event starts on Tuesday 28 May afternoon with an Investor Compensation Schemes International Conference that will explore the topic of:  

“Investor Compensation Schemes: What does the future hold for investor protection? “ 

This international Conference is a prelude for a welcome cocktail for all participants schedules on Tuesday evening. 

On Wednesday, the EFDI Working groups and Committees are distributed all day long.  

The EFDI Annual General Assembly will gather all Members and Affiliates on Thursday morning.  

Then the EFDI International Conferences start on Thursday afternoon, and conclude the gathering at mid-day on Friday 31 May. They cover four promising panels, with even more promising panellists, around a unique theme: 

“Financial Stability for the Many? Deposit Insurers at Work.”   

We have planned the content and format to maximise professional exchanges of views with and among key players, led all along by a seasoned moderator, also privileging an informal and lively atmosphere.  

A Gala Dinner will be held on Thursday 30 May evening in a munificent place on the heights of Nice, whereas a boating excursion to a coastline island is proposed in option to participants on Saturday, 1 June – the best way to collect some pleasant souvenirs before leaving the French Riviera.
